Change of address questions

So we are moving and need to fill out the AR-11 online. For some reason all the fields are mandatory (even the ones with no asterisk) but whatever. Anyways I don't recall us ever filing I-864 so I'm not sure if we need to do the I-865. Any clarification on this?

Are you using Internet Explorer to fill out the AR-11? My friend was having the same problems as you, but after I suggested using IE (she was using Firefox), everything went smoothly

And what visa did you apply for?

Hm, I don't think an I-864 is filled with that. So the AR-11 might be all you need to submit. You can always try calling USCIS and asking to be sure.

An i-864 IS required for the AOS process. If the immigrant has a GC already then the sponsor MUST complete an I-865 to change their address. If the GC hasn't been approved yet then no I-864 is needed.

The I-864 is for financial support. It is a requirement.
