Hello everyone,

I'm in the process of completing form I-130 for my spouse and there are a few questions I'm not 100% sure how to fill out. Your help would be greatly appreciated by us.

Question One

B12 : Date(s) Marriage Ended (What is better to put, None or N/A or do I leave it blank because I answered None for Q. B11?)

Question Two

B14 : If you are a lawful permanent resident alien, complete the following... (Since this question does not apply to me, do I leave it blank or should I put N/A or None?)

Question Three

C2 : Address (I put where my spouse lives currently, right? Even though my spouse hasn't been living with me for very long? Our marriage is pretty young, but true and love-filled nonetheless.)

Question Four

C7 Other Names Used (I know I have to put my spouse's maiden name here, but must it be accompanied by the first name too?)

Question Five

C10 : Alien Registration Number (Does everyone have one of those? I don't think my spouse does but I could be wrong and I'd have to look into it if the answer is 'yes')

Question Six

C14 : Arrival/Departure Record (Since my spouse never got an I-94, should I leave that blank, and state "Canadian Visitor" in the above box?)

Question Seven

C19 : Your relative's address abroad (Do I put the address where my spouse used to live and where my spouse is always welcomed by family members or should I either leave it blank or write N/A?)

Question Eight

C22 : Your relative will apply for AOS to that of a LPR at the USCIS office in... (Do I put the State we're currently living in or Chicago?)

Thank you for taking the time to read and answer my questions.

1. N/A is fine, as it does not apply to you.

2. I left it blank. N/A will be just as good.

3. You write the address where your spouse currently lives

4. You have already put her first and middle names in the first part of section C - unless she has additional names in addition to those you listed in C1, you just put her maiden name for C7

5.Depends on your spouses status and visa - some non-immigrant visa holders have it, others don't.

6. Not 100% sure, if I remember correctly you can just write "Canadian visitor" - but one of the resident Canadians on VJ will probably confirm this for you soon

7. Either is fine. I put my family address there, because while here on a student visa I maintained residence in Finland, and before getting my residence here still had a permanent address abroad (which is required from F1 visa holders). If she does not have a valid address abroad, you can write N/A

8. City and state you live in.
