Ok, I can't seem to find this info, if there's a wiki for it, I may have missed this! I have received my GUZ and IIN numbers. I am petitioner for my wife and 11 year old step daughter. They have individual GUZ numbers and IIN. I got the numbers mixed up and paid AOS fee of $88.00 on my step daughter. Now I can't seem to pay for my wife's AOS fee, says "in progress." I appreciate any information on this.

If you're planning on doing EP, then read Darnell's wiki here: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Electronic_Processing

And for the AOS bill, the fee is only paid once for all cases. It's the IV bill where you have to pay for each case.

Since your case will be at the Guangzhou Consulate, you definitely want to request Electronic Processing at this stage. Electronic processing means you only send in PDF files of the paper documents to NVC, not the actual paper documents. The applicant will bring the actual paper to the visa interview. EP is way much faster. Plus consider that when NVC sends the paper files to Guangzhou Consulate it could be held up in Chinese Custom for up to 3 months. While as if it is EP, the electronic files get to the Guangzhou Consulate at a push of a button.

The first step is make sure NVC has email addresses of both of you, by calling them on the phone. The second step is to send the OPTIN email. Follow the WIKI link as above.

Thank you all very much! That's a load off! I was also concerned about paying on my step daughter, I only have a receipt for her and not my wife. Would that cause any problems? Yes, I have started EP and optin with DS-3032. Thanks again! you all are awesome!
