I've some how mis-placed my NOA2 "Approval" for I-129F application, but I'm supposed to send it off with my AOS pack - does it need to be included? Surely the actual K1 visa is enough? Please help!

Ouch... It is supposed to be included - they ask for it in the instructions for the I-485. I'm sure you have already done this, but did you search high and low for it?? I'm sure you have. I don't know what to tell you to do...if you don't send it, you may get an RFE for it. Perhaps someone else has a suggestion. Best of luck.

From my understanding you have to have it in the AOS (See attachment). You can send the AOS packet without it and see what happens. But in the end I think you going to have to reorder it. The bad news its going to cost you $405.00, to reorder it I think its the I-824, Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition.

Sorry to hear this, Almost lost mine, and turned my house upside down looking for it. I hope you find it.

Phew! I think it'll be ok because my clever man scanned all our documents into his computer and apparently they only need a copy... thank God!

Yeah!! Yes, they only need a copy. That's great! Thank goodness :thumbs:

IO asked to see the original I-129F approval notice during my interview. So, I gave her a copy so she can keep it but she insisted to see the original and did not want a copy. I gave her the original. She looked at it for a few seconds then typed something into her computer then gave it back to me.

This is the first time I've ever heard/read this. Sounds like perhaps there was info missing from her screen or there was something wrong. If I was asked and I didn't have it any more I would say surely SHE could regenerate the original, or had a scanned "official" copy in the system 'cause they were the ones that gave it to you. You'd hope that would be okay because it's ridiculous to pay THAT amount of money for a duplicate when only a copy is needed (according to the instructions) and when as you said, she looked at it for a "few seconds".

Interviewer also asked my wife and her children for the original as well, looked at it for a couple of seconds then began typing something into his computer.
