Call Records issue / Complications

Greetings,

We are about to send our I-130 only one thing is missing me: "Call records". My US wife cellphone company does not want to provide her with information about call records without a police authorization. When we call Police Department of her state ( New Jersey ) they said such a thing can not be provided only when an investigation is needed or for murder cases etc... How you guys think we can get this information? My wife and i spent hour talking over the phone everyday, we would not like to neglect this asset which is an evidence of an ongoing relationship. Thank you guys for your advices.

Who is her cell phone company in the USA? She just needs a print out of her call details on her billing statement. Most of these can be accessed online depending on her cell phone service provider. If you can tell us who the company is maybe we can help give you some websites or contact numbers!

Ditto--we just printed out from three sources: Verizon Wireless for cell phone, Comcast for land line, and Skype for, well Skype.

Unless there is something very unique about your carrier, it is all available online.

Simple Mobile it s her company name and they don t send her billing statements. She got her bills from phone and pay it with her credit card or from her bank account. What do u think guys?>

Simple Mobile might be a little bit of an issue. Since this is one of the companies that doesn't have contract and no billing is provided. Does she use a calling card or she is calling directly from her phone? The reciepts for the calling card might be helpful as well.

Ohh thank you Magical for your concern. We called them about the calls records they ask us to contact the police department first to get the authorization. However, police department does not want to give authorization since it s not an investigation or murder case. This is getting really complioated. We don't use calling card. She just add minutes on my cellphone and i call her, which is the cheapest way

Unfortunately they said they do not keep records of calls or messages that you can access...sorry, but we tried !! They obviously have all those records buried deep in their computers so they can be provided as a matter of law enforcement as you were told, but you ain't going to get them I'm afraid.

Thank you Magical, now don t you think that is going to be a big problem for our case? What can we do? If we call USCIS about it, do you think they will take our case into consideration? please let me know what you think, thanks a lot

Calls are just one piece of information--it really depends on the totality of information you have available--what else do you have??

1-The calls information were one of our asset because we spent days texting and calling. I am working in a cellphone company as well in my country. I have access to call details at my work and can print them. Do you think if i print all my calls showing my number calling hers, they will trust the information?

2- We have money transfer,one ticket flight. we will have the second one in november when she comes. We have: wedding pictures,other pics of us together with family and friends,we intend to print facebook conversations. Isn t that enough? if not, you could still advise me what else i could add. thank you

You have plenty of stuff, and of course they will accept your call list. Your Facebook conversations will be great and if you have any emails in addition before you had Facebook, include some of them as well. Haiti seems to like more rather than less, so don't hold back on what you have.

I agree.. send everything that you have. Emails, regular mail, chat logs, pics... It will be fine! In the meantime I would suggest her getting a different carrier so that by interview time you can have something to print

Maybe you can get call logs from your mobile carrier??? Work ones are fine too!

Just gather everything you can and it will all work out!

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!!!

Remember i told you i am currently working for a cellphone company? well i have access to all the call records including all calls i have made on my phone for the last 6 months. I just talk to my manager and he said that he will provide me with all the records i need. I could do it myself but i preferred to contact my manager to explain that is for immigration purpose. Now everything is fine i will have it ready on monday, YOUPI YOUPI YOUPI. Thank you to everybody.
