Sorry for the what probably is misleading title.

We are planning on going back to America in 2013 and my wife will be going back first in January/Feb and I plan to have my interview in June.

We are not really the richest of couples being young professionals so we have worked out that we may fall short because of payments when my wife first moves back. Such as a car etc, which would take about a $10000 chunk out of our savings. What I intended to do was take out a loan here to cover those initial costs as it would then reflect on what our accurate savings would be at interview around $25000.

I realise I have also asked this before, but if my wife was earning $12000 a year for example this would mean that her income plus our assets ($25k) would get us through the I864? I ask this as it will be close to their requirements. We know we will be financially secure especially once I start working so is this a possible solution to cover initial costs with a uk loan (They would not frown on this)?

Any opinions are appreciated as this is the only worry we have.

Thanks,

Andy

You cant use bank loans to get past the requirements. If you are using bank information you must prove the money has been there over a certain period of time not just dropped into your account.

I suggest getting a co-sponsor if you cannot meet the poverty guidelines.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Sorry I know it was not well put. I did not mean literally get a bank loan to cover the asset requirements, I meant we were going to get a loan to cover the payment of the car and moving costs before my interview (so we would not touch our savings) and if that loan would be taken into account or not on the I864?

We will also be getting a co-sponsor too, thanks for the reply.
