just found out something interesting

in the NOA there is a number at the bottom of the notice whoch says NBC$ , on replacing $ with a * on that number i see that my case is lined up for the interview , they did that on october 3rd

Called USCIS found out they mailed my FP notice on 10/05. Was advised to update my case status on line. I thought filling in the electronic notification form with N400 would give me automatic updates, but I guess that was only with the receipt NOA. Anyways would await my FP notice.

Nycguy nice to know Ur trick worked. Hopefully my interview comes after my 3 yr green card anniversary otherwise My oath would be postponed.

adonis , why dont you try the trick in ur case also and see if that works and see if it gives u info that they mailed it out on 10/05 ? that will confirm that the trick works , can u try plz

I have my fingerprints OCTOBER 21st.

I think I might just go in sometime this week and see if I can get them done earlier, as their office is just a mile away from mine.

June 20th 2007.....I-129f Sent to CSC!

July 7th 2007....NOA1

November 8th....NOA2

December 8th.....Packet 3 Received (Sent back 10th)

January 8th.....Packet 4 Received

January 16th.....Interview in London

January 20th....Flight to AZ via JFK, received temp EAD

February 29th...Civil Ceremony

March 10th...I485, I765 & I131 sent to Chicago

March 22nd....Received NOA for I485, I131 & I765 (All dated March 18th)

March 24th....Received Biometrics Appointment Letter (dated March 20th)

April 7th...Request for Initial Evidence for I485 (Received in MO on the 10th)

April 9th....Biometrics Appointment

May 30th...EAD Card Production Ordered and AP Approved

June 7th....Wedding!!

June 13th...EAD Card & AP in hand

September 22nd...AOS Interview - APPROVED!

Nov 21st...Card Production Ordered!

Nov 22nd...Welcome to America Letter Received

Nov 29th 2008...Green Card Received!!!

Aug 20th 2010...Mailed I-751 to CSC

Aug 23rd...Check Cashed

Hello,

Thank you Sil_Dan, sorry i applied, on the 26th of August.

So I'm an august filer. My NOA is dated on the 1st of september.

I called USCIS, it was so easy to connect with them, I was really ready to wait 20 minutes...

Ok, so she told me to wait 30 more days, for a response.

Unlike some people, I'm on line for interview without having my biometrics done

I agree with you...I'm not in a big hurry to have my interview until after my 3yr green card date. I'd much rather have interview and oath the same day, than to have to wait. That's why I didn't try for early finger prints...doesn't seem to make any sense to rush the whole thing when citizenship can't happen any earlier than that 3 year date.

Oh that is so true...by this point in the process we are all very, very weary of all this. But we are on the home stretch now. Hope it goes smoothly for you.
