I filed for the I-129F for my Fiance and Just received NOA2, and I am about to send the documents for interview to my fiance. i will like to know

1 Since i have have a co-sponsor for my fiance, do i need to send affidavit of support to my fiance as one of the

sponsors, since i am still a student and i dont work for now

2 does my co-sponsor have to fill the I-134 form for me too.

3 If i don't fill the I-134 form as one of the sponsors, will it affect my fiance's chances.

1. Yes, you are still the primary sponsor

2. Yes, both you and the co-sponsor fill in one I-134 each

3. Yes, it will be denied. You MUST fill it in and send documentation (tax filings or reason you didn't need to file etc), even if you made no money at all.

Thanks Penguin_ie, i appreciate your time and response. one more thing, i am on student loan do you think it will affect our chances. Also one of the requirement needed is police certificate of where one has lived more than 6 months, how can my fiance get a police certificate from the UK because he lived in the UK for some time after his studies.

If you have a qualified co-sponsor, no problem having a student loan.

I'd contact the local UK Embassy about a police cert from there, it is different for each country.

Hoping to get some answers regarding the I-134.

My fiance is a student and does not met the required povety line. However an old friend of mine has kindly agreed to sponsor me, as his salary is way above the povety line.

Below is all the documentation we have thus far, is there anything else we need?

Completed I-134

Last 3 years IRS tax clearance

Last 3 pay stubs

Letter from employer

A letter from my Co-sponsor indicating willingness to sponsor me(notarized)

In addition to this, are both of them required to notarize the 1-134 form because the ones they sent to me wasn't notarized. would that be a problem at the consulate in Lagos if they dont notarize the I 134 form they filled.

Thank you in advance for your help.
