Hello

I just wanna know if C.O's @ USEM asks for NBI with a.k.a. for those who were married once and only used their maiden name before. I didn't had any name changes on my NSO B/C hmm.. just wanna make sure before I'll attend my interview. So, do you think I'll still need to get an NBI clearance with my maiden name as a.k.a.? Thanks for the reply.

3/03/11 NOA1

3/21/11 CFO seminar (SMEF-COW)

6/08/11 NOA2 (Thank you God)

NVC:

6/28/11 NVC received our petition(Thank God;)

7/01/11 NVC case # assigned(so happy)

7/05/11 Eligible for further processing( DS-3032 sent via e-mail)

7/07/11 Paid AOS fee

7/09/11 DS-3032 received ^_^

7/11/11 AOS status shows as paid & IV bill invoice e-mailed by NVC

7/12/11 AOS packet sent

7/13/11 IV bill paid(AOS packet received)

7/18/11 IV packet sent

7/19/11 IV packet received ^_^

7/27/11 IV packet on process (God is good all the time)

7/29/11 Case completed at NVC

8/02/11 NVC e-mailed the packet of instructions for interview

USEM:

8/22/11 Medical ( passed)

9/13/11 Interview passed (visa printed), thank God for another blessing ;)

9/16/11 Visa on hand

9/20/11 CFO sticker/ticket purchased ^_^

10/06/11 P.O.E. (Las Vegas via PAL)

Yes u should have two NBI one with your signle name and married name because they will ask for it always to be sure.

Yeah :) Many VJers were asked to come back with their NBI clearance with their maiden names as aka

Oh thanks guys, the lady whose encoding my application was asking me why did I put my maiden name on aka, coz that's my name before now I'm using my husband's last name so I wanna be sure because I'll be using it for immigration requirement, as I told her. Then, what she did is she just cross it out and didn't do as I say grr.. Anyway when I'll go back there to get my clearance I'll tell them to put my maiden name on aka, to be sure I'll bring my appointment letter. god bless everyone. thanks :thumbs:

Had my interview yesterday and I was approved, :thumbs::dance: thank God. The good news was they didn't asked me any additional documents, what we sent to NVC was pretty much it. NBI clearance was not a problem to me too, it's cool I just got a clearance from my married name and they didn't asked me to get another one with aka nor NBI clearance on my maiden name. Good luck everyone ^_^
