Hey... We have our interview in less than a week at the US Embassy in London - and I've suddenly started having a panic... Can anyone advise me how many free pages I need in my UK passport, in order for them to put my K1 visa in? I have a few pages left untouched, but only 2in sucession, and I would hate for my return to the states to be delayed due to my passport - it still has 7years left on it, so up until now I hadn't given it a moment's thought! Thanks for any advice!

Only one page is required for them to stick in the visa. You shouldn't have a problem.

Good luck at the interview

As far as I know you always need to have one empty page in your passport to travel...so if you get your visa on one page you need at least another one to travel. There is a previous post from a few days ago about someone writing they had 3 free pages left but not consecutively and they were approved for the visa, but told to get a new passport first before the visa can be issued into the passport.

1 page is required for your visa. The custom officer at POE will staple your I-94 right by it.

One is required for your visa, however, as a general rule you should never travel with a passport without empty pages (some countries like a blank page for their stamp). As you have 2 in succession you should be okay, but I would call the embassy just to make sure. Not sure if you will find this link helpful

Im and ex-flight attendant and had to renew my passport a few times due to this even though I still had years left on it. I would just call to make sure...better safe then delayed.

Good luck!

Agreed. Most of the US visas I've seen in passports are placed on a right-side page with a blank left-side page facing it. CBP often staples the I-94 to the blank facing page so that it doesn't obscure the visa.
