If you have already paid the MRV fee which is $240(http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/types/types_1263.html) then you do not need to pay anything at the interview. What is the $131 fee?

The $1070 is for your AOS which you will do after you have got married here in the USA. No need to pay that right now.

I had my interview today. I must have been up late at night reading when I read somewhere about the $131. Turns out I had already paid the $240 and didnt require any money at all lol.

I followed this guide to the letter... C1 ticket holder and all. Jan 17 filer, Visa in the Mail Sept11.

I'm having an issue getting the DS-160. Every time I visit the website, there isn't an option to start one for Montreal. Am I missing something? I've seen in two places that the DS-160 isn't required for a K-1 and three places that says it is... but I can't find it! It's just not listed in the drop down menu. Help please.

Maybe you need to call them.

Personnaly, I never reveive the package 3.

I received a answer to a email I send to them and by the way they told me they send the pack 3 to me some weeks ago already so, I take the information about what I need to file and send on internet.

Just keep checking that CSC website to see if any earlier openings show up. That's your best bet for possibly getting something sooner at this time.

This post was very informative . I find myself having anxiety trying to figure out next step to move on as I wait for NOA 2 to arrive at NVC. Do we still us the DS230 form? Or is it the DS260?

I am jealous!! I hope when I get packet 4 (hopefully very soon!) I can get an interview before the end of the year..was really hoping to get there for Christmas but whatever happens happens!

It looks like anything is possible! It took 3 weeks after my Packet 4 for ANY interview dates to pop up. When they did, they were all over the board... Early January, late January, February... then BAM November dates showed up.

It took me about a week to get my Packet 4 after I sent my Packet 3. I wouldn't rule out a pre-Christmas interview... I mean, my interview is in 3 weeks! If you get your Packet 4 in 1-2 weeks, you could see a late Nov, early December date pop up (from someone else canceling, perhaps?)

Just check the CSC website for cancellations incessantly. Seriously. At home, at work, on your phone... wherever, whenever you can.
