Hi,

I'm sure this has been asked before but how many is the norm to take to the interview?

I have our wedding album, and then about 6 little albums of each visit, Christmas, days out etc.

Should I take them all and let them choose which ones they want or just pick so many out of each one?

I took everything I had, the interviewing officer was not interested in any of it

Take'em all.

Better yet, have dupes made of everything and leave the formal albums at home. Photos seemed to be the most important part of the evidence at our interview today - they looked at almost 5 years worth and I think they made photocopies of an inch thick stack of them.

LOL...

Talk about immediate differing opinions!

You could take several of the albums, the officer will only look but won't take any.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

I brought a few wedding pictures and latest pictures (with friends with us) and they just look at it. The other important proof you need to bring on your interview is a joint account and insurance.

I wouldn't waste my time over doing it. The more diverse photos you have with other family memebers and friends in the shot the better..

Here is what you can do:

1. Bring too much stuff - photos, documents. Worst case - you will not need them.

2. Bring too little stuff - guess what the worst case is...

You choose.

CIP - we AOSed after J1 waiver. Of course we had our NOA for J1 waiver. Just on impulse, I grabbed J1 waiver related file before leaving for interview. AO spent good 10 minutes examining paperwork related to J1, made copies of all extension forms. We thanked our foresight and lady Fortune afterwards :)
