Hello guys,

I just received a Notice of Action saying that my AOS application has been transferred to the California Service Center to speed up processing. This sounds good but at the same time a bit scary...Is it normal for them to transfer cases to other offices??? Also, in order to check my case status, will I have to wait till I get a new case number from CSC? Thanks in advance!

No you don't get a new number.

You have a 50/50 chance of interview, cases are sent to CSC for faster processing. You may or may not get an interview, most who get sent to CSC do not get an interview.

Ours got transferred to CSC and we were approved without an interview so I think you are in good shape! :thumbs:

Our case was transferred back in June! Husband had bimetrics was July, Got approved EAD and received card in August, However no word on greencard. It has been 4 months plus and will still have not got status ongreencard status. Should we be worried and make some calls?
