Are you using IE? It's pretty much the only browser that works with government sites as those kind of sites are designed for IE, and only IE. They don't care about testing it in other browsers.

We were. I'm going to give it a while - I have had the email to say that they are going to send Trevor the instructions but he hasn't had anything yet so maybe it needs a little while before it is live. I'll try again in, let's see ... 5 minutes?

02/18/2011 - Married
04/02/2011 - NOA1 hard copy received - priority date 03/30/2011
07/08/2011 - Trevor is now a USC - called USCIS to request upgrade of the petition.
08/02/2011 - NOA2
09/08/2011 - LND case number received, medical booked
09/26/2011 - Case complete at NVC
09/30/2011 - Interview date assigned

Good Luck!!!

That's not always 100% true. Neither my husband or myself ever got an email saying we could pay the AOS or IV bills. We just logged in, said it was invoiced, and paid immediately.

laughing.gif That's what I would do ;) Both my husband and I were checking the payment portal constantly so we could pay the bill as soon as it was invoiced.

Thank you. The AOS fee is already paid (and the package sent). We can see that the IV fee is now showing as Not Paid rather than Not Invoiced as it was earlier but Trevor hasn't yet had the email with the instructions. I am just being toooo impatient!

Nope you are just prepared!!! Thats the whole name of the game at NVC! The ball is in your court more so now! Its hard to sit and stare at an unclickable box! Believe me I know! lol

We got emails every step of the way notifying us of what to do. Once we received the AOS email I could log in and pay. Same thing with the IV emails. Seems NVC is doing a better job of updating the AVR system and sending the emails these days.

Yaaay! Congrats! I hope that means I get mine next week... finally! (Today is 3 months since approval!) I've heard conflicting reports about when they actually received our file though. Sometimes NVC says they received it August 22nd and sometimes they say August 26th...

If I get my case number Monday (knock on wood!), what do you think the chances are of paying and sending everything by October 1st? I'll be out of the country for 2 weeks and don't want to have those extra few weeks of nothing happening on our case! Our packets have basically been ready since May!

You have a good chance of getting everything sent by October 1st, as long as you're on top of things. Send the DS-3032 right away, pay bills right away, constantly check the payment portal so as soon as bills appear as PAID, then you can send the packages. Good luck, hope you get the case number TODAY!
