Now that your case is completed, it's put into a queue for an interview date to be scheduled. This can be done tomorrow, in a few days, or in a few weeks. I've got a feeling you'll find out next week :)

And when your interview is scheduled, NVC will email you with the date and time, as well as some instructions (what to bring and such).

Just talked to an operator from the NVC. Was nicely surprised with operator's voice, tone the conversation was going. Unfortunately, they were not able to schedule for November, chances for December are pretty high.

And..."the NVC schedules interviews" on (quiz question):

1. 1st week

2. 2nd week

3. Hard to say

4. None above

P.S. Good thing - case was completed.

Still, I'm able to log into their web-portal and mess up with (except payments)

Yeah, getting a CC just a few days ago, it'd be hard to get an interview in Montreal for November. Probably early December though :) Just keep calling!

As long as it gets before January 13th, 2012 (before PCC from Ukraine expires) - I'm fine :D .

But still, I'll contact the NVC and will try to explain the PCC's issue, if the interview date is assigned after january, 13th (see my PCC story on previous threads).

I think, my wife's interview will get assigned next week.

Thank you, Saylin!

Yup, I remember you emailing me about the PCC. Don't worry, you'll have your interview before that! December definitely.

And you're gonna get your interview scheduled this week! yes.gif

Another call to the NVC - same standard answer, almost like automated answering machine. It sounds pretty much that the NVC knows what they're talking about , I mean 2nd week's rule.

Will see what happens during the week: if it proves this rule or doesn't .

Thanks Saylin - for everything. Trevor is coming here on the 23rd of this month so that we can spend some time with both of our families (my mum is organizing a farewell party!) and then we are flying back together on 4th December.
