I noticed that when I looked up my tracking # for my AOS package sent through USPS it stated that they tried to deliver it on Sat and the business was closed. It also stated that a notice was left, will NVC go to the post office and pick up my package or do I need to get it redelivered? I have 15 days before they send it back to me.

Thank you for the advice :D

Don't worry. they will redelivery on next business day which is the following Monday. It did happened to me twice. USPS kept sending my package twice on Saturday but redelivery on the following Monday even I marked no delivery on Saturday. USPS system is different from UPS. when the mail got to their office they have to delivery any way except Sunday.

When did you send it? You should be getting an acceptance email soon, then IV bill invoiced a few days later, and then appearing as PAID a few days after paying it.

And you're very welcome! Glad others not doing EP have gotten some use from it as well! And eventually, it's NVC's plan to have every country eligible for EP, but they have to run pilot tests first to get all the problems smoothed out. Every few months I see another country added on the list here: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_5165.html The same thing for the online forms, it used to be only Canada and Mexico, but then a few more were added. Unfortunately, you'll probably be done with this immigration process by the time Bogota is added laughing.gif

Sent the email yesterday, paid today. Was told to wait for the next email to send the AOS and everything else. Still waiting the IIN for our second case (step son) though. And as far as the EP countries...Turkmenistan??? really?? seriously??? do they even have internet there??? They would save sooo much money and resources if the had picked Colombia

Please remember, it's the IV bill I was talking about as that's connected with the DS-3032. The AOS has nothing to do with the DS-3032 as they're two different tracks.

Hope you get the IIN for your step-son's case. Have you called and asked an operator yet?

And yeah, I dunno why some countries are on that list while others aren't. You would think a lot more European countries would be on there as well as some from South America...

You mean the AOS package?

And by the way, what date did you send the IV package?

Well I sent the AOS and IV in the same package to NVC, separated by the cover sheets.... Is that right or was i supposed to send them separately??

I sent the package with both in today.

mailed i130: 05-05-2011

NOA1 date: 05-11-2011

You can do either way, some people send them separately (as soon as they can) while others wait for the IV, and then send them together.

Hopefully you hear something next week :)

I wish id done it separately rather than waited.

Ive just realised that I haven't sent proof of the co sponsors citizenship so will get an RFE for that. 2 week delay?

And, Do I need to send the co sponsors employment letter as proof of current employment (I sent the recent tax return, 2010)??

Oh and do you think I could scan this information to them to speed it up?

Thanks Saylin your awesome!

I didn't send either of those. No RFEs. I wouldn't worry about it :)
