awesome. Your from the UK and I see your interview date was assinged quite quickly (1 month, 1 week)- hope thats the case for me.

Can you book your medical before case complete then?

For the UK, I believe advance medicals are possible, so instead of bringing the interview letter to the medical (which is required by most places), you should be able to just bring the first letter you got from NVC with your case number, IIN, BIN, DS-3032 in it. And then of course your other documents (vaccination record, 3 pictures [might be different for UK], passport, money)

Finally got my IV invoiced ! Apparently it was done after midnight, because there was nothing yet yesterday.

I've just seen it this morning.

Allegra, your trick works ! So, other people, who stuck with that payment, might try it also.

P.S. No email though to me, as petitioner, about further instructions on visa processing.

Grats on finally having the IV invoiced! Maybe a worker stayed a little bit late last night to invoice your bill :)

In addition to my previous post.

But I'm not still able to make a payment: both box "Select" and button "Pay Selected Fees" are grayed and won't let me for further processing.

I simply can't check the "Select" box.

Just to make sure, you're using IE, right? Shame on you if you're using anything else :P

If you are using IE, then you might have to wait for the email from NVC about paying the IV. This wasn't the case a few months back when I was going through NVC. I never received the emails saying so-and-so bill is invoiced. They were invoiced in the morning and my husband paid them right away with no glitches. But sometime when this backlog occurred, the payment portal process of paying bills slowed down a lot, where you actually needed to wait for the email most times or you couldn't pay.

I'd guess early next week you should get the email so you can pay. While you wait though, just in case, log on to the payment portal as often as you want to check.

Thank you, Saylin ! It's a shame on NVC that they're still using that crappy IE .

I've seen that issue with AOS payment (although I've enabled pop-ups in Mozilla), so I've immediately realized what was going on. But still, I've seen some posts before where people were able to use Mozilla. Wonder if Opera will do it.

I'll try it from my home PC, because I have no clue how bad is this IE at work. Will see what happens  .

Yes, I seem to have been lucky with my interview date because I have seen people whose case was completed before ours but who have interviews later in November. Our case was completed on Monday 26th, Trevor phoned NVC on Friday 31st and they told him an interview date had just been assigned and then the next morning we received an email to confirm it - so don't believe any of this stuff about interviews only being assigned in the second week of the month.

You can book your medical as soon as you have your LND case number so I would go ahead and book it as soon as you can. You just need your case number and your police certificate. They want some more information from my GP about something I had 17 years ago so I'm glad I had it in good time.

All the best.

For London you just need your LND case number (I just told them it over the phone, they never asked for it in writing), your vaccination records, passport and your police certificate. Oh, and the money of course! £210 plus more for any vaccinations you need to get done there. I didn't need any photos or any other forms.

Yeah, I wish government sites were designed for other browsers than just IE. As let's face it, IE sucks. Well, I am studying for programming... maybe I'll work for NVC later and re-design their entire payment portal :D

Oh wow, didn't know you didn't need photos. And a police certificate? For the medical? That I've not heard of before laughing.gif Well, good to know then!

I guessed it was just for an extra ID check because it has your photo on it. Not sure though.

Wow! Didn't know that at all. In Canada, there's no photo and it's only signed by the officer who did the name check.

Yeah Nickky, try it again. I just got my IV bill re-invoiced because I had made information mistakes on both payments when typing in info. Stupid mistakes. I was able to re-pay now at noon when this morning it was still marked as "PAID."

Please disregard EVERYTHING you've heard about interviews only being scheduled during the second week of each month. It's a LIE! NVC schedules interviews ALL month long. Go back in this thread and you'll see the last week of September, many people were assigned interview dates. Even myself, my interview was scheduled during the FOURTH week of the month.
