We have not received an email yet. But the portal has shown NOT PAID for 27 hours now and I wanna pay it!! lol

I called yesterday and a man said he does not show it as ready on his end. i am calling again.

Ok lady says Ma'am it has not been generated yet. I do not know why it is showing up on your end but it is not ready to be paid. They will send an email when it is ready...BLAH BLAH BLAH. I cannot believe I have to BEG these people to take my money. I have never been so happy to spend 500 bucks! I guess I will try to be patient....I will look at the portal again in 20 mins.

Yeah, I couldn't pay for it either until I got the e-mail.

I had sent them an e-mail to ask them something completely different and an e-mail with permission to pay and instructions followed right after that. You should try it might work again!!! :P

Hi Cathy,

How long did it show up as NOT PAID till you got the email? I see some people waited like 5 days after 3032 to pay 230 bill.

Thank you

I can't remember exactly - at least a couple of days, felt like a couple of months!! The good news is that they completed our case one day after receiving our IV package so hopefully you are pretty close to the end.

Well, to be honest, based on what I've seen on this thread, being on EP doesn't give you any benefits. I filled out on-line DS-261 (choice of agent) a week ago, it was accepted by the NVC same day and since that time - silence. No e-mails, no IV bill invoiced. Have no clue how the NVC processes cases. It definitely looks people who are on regular process - get their cases processed faster.

The only benefit from EP - I don't have to submit originals to the NVC, only scanned copies.

I did, Allegra, today. But it was after business hours. I sent an e-mail from my wife's e-mail box asking (by the way) how long does it take to get IV invoiced once DS-261 (DS-3032) gets accepted. Will see, what happens after they get it.

And it's been a week since they got that DS-261 form, and no news. Just got yesterday e-mail about my I-864 packet: nothing special, just general wording "...10-20 business days for your I-864 processing..." and bla-bla-bla.

Welcome (finally) to the September NVC thread!

If you got any questions, don't hesitate to ask ;)

Hi everyone! I'm new here in VJ. Little back story: Our petition got approved last July 28, NVC received our case August 8, assigned us our case number September 8, so I guess I do belong in this thread :)

I wanna inquire something bothering me guys and gals! :(

We submitted our AOS & IV packets and was received by NVC last September 26. October 3, we received an email (checklist cover letter). It stated that the AOS line 25 in my hubby's form doesn't corresponds to his IRS and W2s. Hubby passed two W2s for year 2010 (he had two employers but not on the same time). The sum of the two 2Ws is equal to the amount stated in his IRS which in turn the amount he wrote on the AOS line 25. And now, the checklist is asking for a new completed and corrected form. Is its possible that the NVC overlooked that he had two W2s?
