Grats on getting the AOS bill. We had gotten our AOS bill the next business day after getting our case number as well.

And hoping you get an optin acceptance soon and that your IV bill invoiced as well after DS-3032 acceptance.

Got all the packages ready to send off when you can?

Welcome to another NVC thread laughing.gif How's the NVC process coming for you? Any movement?

AFAIK, the hubby is getting his birth certificate and police check, but haven't inquired about it lately. I will the next time we chat. And cross fingers he gets the job he's after, as it's the reason why we're dragging so hard on this part of the process.

(Le sigh. I should have the patience of a proverbial SAINT by the time this is over with, right? :P )

Holding my nose and jumping off the cliff.. hope I don't hit any rocks in the water.

*grins* Part of it is his personality/way his brain works. I mean, this year he forgot my birthday and our anniversary. He didn't forget generally when it was, and knew within the week it was coming, but exact days escape him. The other part is pride; he wants to pay to get to Montreal himself, plus help with moving expenses (we have a bit of furniture along with most of our household goods from the 2 1/2 years I lived up there before and after the wedding). So we're aiming for a Jan/Feb. interview date; hinging upon him getting that job.

Now, if he doesn't get the job within the month, I am going to say #### it, borrow the money from my parents for his flight, medical and hotel, and then fly him down here with whatever he can stuff in a suitcase. We'll figure out getting the rest of our stuff down later. :P

*snerks* Yeah. Not that I mind asking my parents for help, but just better to do it on our own.

My wife received an email from NVC yesterday that they received the DS-3032 email. I checked the NVC online payment system and the IV bill is showing $404 but I am unable to select the bill for next step. I tried Mozilla Firefox, IE, and Safari but no help! Is the bill still not ready to be paid?

When paying bills, ONLY use IE. Any other browser will give you problems.

On the payment portal, does the IV bill say 'invoiced' or 'ready to pay' or something like that?

The Payment Status only shows "NOT PAID". I don't see anything like "invoiced" or "ready to pay"! Do I have to wait for another email from NVC?

Thanks!

Quite a few of us currently (last week) going through this stage of NVC have had this issue. The payment portal shows the IV bill as "not paid", but you cannot select it for payment, right? We had to wait till NVC sent us the IV bill via email before we were able to pay. Took about 3 days between the IV bill showing up and receiving the email. Interestingly enough, we also received our IV package coversheet almost immediately after paying the fee (before payment was done being processed).

Not sure if it's a glitch in the system or if they are changing the way they do things at NVC. Do post your experience after you make payment! :)
