Yeah, you'll have to wait for NVC emails. I was able to sign in on the first day I received the case number, but then it was "Sign in Failed" until immediately after I received the AOS bill and DS-3032 via email. Same with the IV bill. I was checking constantly, but wasn't able to pay until I received the email.

Won't let me pay. I guess I have to wait a couple of days?

Ok. I got the case number, IIN and she also gave me a beneficiary IDN. She asked about our attorney and I told her we are not working with an attorney anymore. So she told me to send an email asking to remove the attorney. So I just did that now too.

Now what?

I'm so excited!! My heart is doing cartwheels!! Just knowing this tortuously, painful long wait is almost over!

Know what else I noticed? The people that answer the NVC phones are soooooo much nicer than the people that answer the USCIS phones. Strange.

I am soooooo happy for you!!! Good luck. I hope NVC goes by quiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick!

What happened? You typed something wrong on the DS-230 or in the email?

Hopefully despite this, you'll get a CC early next week.

One wrong number on the DS-230, however that one wrong number fundamentally altered what was being asked on the form and thus a new form will be needed. I probably would have had a CC today if it wasn't for this. :(

That's why I learned to check things over 50 times, and then another 100 times after that. lol

Well look at the bright side, this is the last immigration paperwork you will have to submit for at least the next 2 years!

There are two "versions" of the I-864. There's the I-864 which is the basic form, but it's longer. The I-864EZ is just a shorter version with less questions, but you have to meet the 3 criteria to qualify to fill it out.

If you've already filled out the I-864, just stay with it. Even though you may qualify for the I-864EZ, you're not required to fill it out.

And electronic processing is only available to certain countries. According to your timeline, you're going through Turkey, which is NOT an eligible country.

Yes, sometimes I see every now and then where a person can't use the AVR as it perpetually says "no case found". You shouldn't be relying on the AVR anyways. Always go with an operator as they'll have updates faster than the AVR.

Thank you so much. I appreciate all your wonderful help. I am a nervous wreck. After I sent in my I-864 I noticed that the Human Resources did not date my Employment Letter, but I did send in recent paystubs. Crazyiness.

It'll probably be okay that you didn't date the employment letter as the employment letter itself is optional. Although, it would have been better if it was dated as that would show when the letter was written and signed. But if you sent pay stubs as well, you should be okay :)

That scheduling during the second week of the month is rubbish.

I just called NVC today and they told me we were schedule for an interview Nov 10.

It looks like a lot of people are getting appointments today, so if you're waitin for a date you might want to call!

That's what I've been saying all along, that the operators are LYING when they say they only schedule during the second week. You're now proof, along with me, of this fact.

And grats by the way on getting your interview date! kicking.gif
