Yeah, I've seen a few recent EP cases where they got a response within a week!

And phew! I remember when I had finished with NVC and was waiting for my interview that there was a possible government shutdown coming. Thankfully, it was avoided or I would have missed my interview headbonk.gif

Got my OPTIN e-mail acceptance  ! That was really fast: I sent a request on Friday (around 7pm) and just couple minutes ago got an e-mail.

Still, I have a question. In e-mail there is following:

Foreign State Chargeability: UKRAINE

315 PLACE D'YOUVILLE, SUITE 500

MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC H2Y 0A4

CANADA

What is this: "Foreign State Chargeability": UKRAINE ? Is it some how related to the fact that my wife originally came from Ukraine (she's Canadian resident though)?

Thank you.

Yeah, if you got a response back saying they couldn't add information, it means it was too early as they hadn't fully finished getting all your information in. But good job on sending it out again so soon. Now that you received the initial information package from NVC, then it will be accepted this time around.

And the IV bill won't be generated until a few days AFTER the DS-3032 has been accepted. So, probably next week.

And your AOS should appear as PAID very soon and then you can send the AOS package if you want to or wait till the IV is appearing as PAID, and mail them both in the same envelope at the same time.

DUMB HERE: SEND BOTH OF WHAT IN AT THE SAME TIME: DS-230 AND I-864? THANKS

NOA 1 November 15, 2010

NOA 2 August 25, 2011

Closed NVC Ocotber 11, 2011

Interview Date: January 12,2012

Thank you my wonderful God in Heaven.

Just send the IV papers off. Now we're praying for no RFEs and a speedy CC. Am a bit paranoid at this point and worried we did something wrong. But I guess it's out of our hands now and all we can do is wait for the next message from the NVC :)

Grats on sending out the IV package. And hope you get a CC soon, like next week!

I answered in the email you sent me, but yes, I believe it's country of origin/citizenship. Nothing really to worry about. Just remember that since she's a Canadian resident and not citizen, she'll have to include a copy of the front and back of her resident card with the IV package. And she should bring her card with her to the interview.

DUMB HERE: SEND BOTH OF WHAT IN AT THE SAME TIME: DS-230 AND I-864? THANKS

Yes, the IV and AOS packages. Some people send them separately, others send them together.
