We received this email today from NVC.

The NVC recently received this petition. The appropriate agent

(applicant, petitioner, or attorney) will receive instructions for the

further processing of this petition.

Just a general email maybe?

Interesting. You were at CSC too. My case was approved before yours, but I called NVC this morning AGAIN and they STILL haven't received my file from USCIS. I wonder what is up with this??

Are you absolutely 100% certain you inputted the case number correctly? That you put in the 3-character embassy code correctly?

If you just got the case number last week, it could still be possible that the AVR is behind. Although I have seen a case here and there where the AVR never works, it always says "case not found". Which isn't a big deal.

Unfortunately, I have tried many times too!! Still AVRS playing same message: NO CASE NUMBER FOUND!!!!!

Is anyone has same problem or Should my sister send an email since she cannot use phone anymore of not funding her case number!!!!!!!

I think she expedited her case.

Also, when you call NVC be specific. Ask them "Is it in the mailroom?" Is it in the building? Is someone touching it and putting it into the system. I have read so many posts and many people get more or less information then others so I think they will only answer direct questions. Good Luck

Hi,

I just talked to the operator that my RFE is on file but i have to wait for the interview scheduling.

He told me that they are unable to schedule for the Oct interview but they are waiting for the 2nd week of Oct to schedule for Nov interview. I was told to call back 3rd week of Oct to check the interview date.

Does anyone know how they actually schedule all the interview dates? Do they only schedule interview on the 2nd week of the month?

Thank you.

When the operators say they only schedule during the second week of each month, it's a LIE. If you want proof, look at my own signature; I was scheduled during the FOURTH week! And I've seen many others scheduled throughout the month. When I was actually waiting for my own CC, I was looking at when Canadians were getting their interview dates scheduled, and the majority got their interview date scheduled in any week except the second!! So, please, whatever you do, do not listen to those darn operators, they're simply reading from a script.

I called the AVR yesterday and got a message that there is missing documentation. I was hoping it was a false RFE because they haven't yet processed the IV package and we were going to call and ask an operator this morning. But I have just received an email confirming that it is the DS-230 missing:

The National Visa Center is waiting for an Immigrant Visa Application to be submitted for this case.

We are still waiting for USPS to deliver that!!
