Nope, you don't need to do anything. Just make sure you bring the interview letter with you ;) As well as all the other documents.

Grats on finally getting the case number!

And it's DS-3032, by the way ;)

It might get accepted, it might not. But it definitely didn't hurt sending it. If it does get rejected, then just re-send it again.

Hi Guys

We had our case complete on September 9. What are the processes that follow? Does case complete means that NVC has reviewed the file or it just means that they just received both packages and then they will review them at a later date?

what is the time line i should be looking at for the e-mail with an interview date.

Thank you

Case complete means that NVC reviewed and accepted both packages! Grats!

NVC put your case in a queue to get an interview date assigned. Once you have an interview date assigned, NVC will ship the case to the consulate/embassy.

We never received an e-mail saying our case was complete. We found out by calling AVR.

Anyways, anyone has any idea how long will it take from case complete to receiving that e-mail with the interview date.NVC says they will start the November schedulin ( we missed hte october slot) by mid October. Does it really take that long?

You weren't supposed to get a case complete email. Only those doing EP get that case complete email. For non-EP, you can only find out through the AVR or an operator.

And I don't know the timelines for Albania. Some people get their interview date within a few days, others a few weeks. Myself, I had to wait 15 days to find out my interview date.

And whatever you do, do NOT listen to the operators when they say they only schedule the second week of each month for the next month. This is NOT true! If you want proof, look at my own signature. My interview date was scheduled during the FOURTH week. And also, do NOT listen to them when they say so-and-so month is full. Most of the time, they're just reading from a script! Unless they actually take the time to manually check, then they're just lying. You can still get an October interview (depending on Albania's timelines).

Thanks again Saylin

Usually interviews at the Tirana Consulate are scheduled 2 month from the case complete. I tried my best to get the NVC OPs to manually look for dates and was hoping for a miracle but it did not happen. Anyways, I just need to know the interview date so we can close this chapter in our journey and prepare for the last stop. I am also planing on going there for the interview so the sooner we know the date the cheaper the price of the ticket. They go up by the hour :)

If it's 2 months from case complete to interview date, then that's about the same for Canada. For myself, it was 54 days from case complete to interview date. And it only took 15 days, although, during those 15 days, time seemed to go by slowly since, like you, all I wanted to know was the date so I can plan things.

Although, thankfully, no plane tickets or hotel bookings were needed for myself as I lived in the city where the consulate was. I'm hoping you find out your interview date soon, so you can buy a plane ticket asap while the prices are lower.

Ok so sent the DS 3032 via email and received the automated response. How long until they send an email to approve this?

And when you pay the Bills online, do they send a receipt to your email, so you can print the cover sheet with the bar code off your email? because his cousin doesnt have a printer to print the cover sheet off (hubby doesnt have bank account set up right now).
