My 'based on your timeline' window just got moved up a few days to Oct 11, but also extended to late Nov....

Seems more people are getting lucky at random, and more people are waiting an inexplicable long haul.

earlier it was Oct 31, 2011 - Nov 10,2011.

Now mine says between October 25, 2011 and December 5, 2011 !

i i can say it What the "freck" is going on.

It would be nice if the timelines took into account expedites and military priority, though it also seems like some of the late August/September petitions that are getting through quick are skewing the range.

The timeline adjusts itself. Mine used to say this week. Now it says end of October.

Hello! I am curious if any of you heard anything? I saw a July 05, 2011 approval.

Allah[swt] says: “You may have someone in your mind, someone in your heart, someone in your dreams, someone in your life, but I am your someone when you have no one"He[swt] reminds us saying "O Prophet! Allah is sufficient for you and for the believers who follow you." [[Qur'an:8:4]] So when you slip and fall, remind yourself of Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim, the One whose always there, just waiting for your Call!

It now says July 31, 2011 on the timelines. That is insane! I do not see many July approvals so are the early August and September approvals messing up the timeline estimates?

It doesn't say they are processing 31 July applications. That is the date they last updated the timescales. It says 5 mths average and doesn't show a specific date they are working on.

Yes it does it says that on Igor's List. It is not saying 5 months here on on VJ. It says that on the USCIS website. I am not talking about that. I am talking about here on VJ.

Realistically, if we go by the reports that use ALL the data from the processing centers, we will get processed in "5 months." So for us July filers, that's November. :(

Yes, I am not expecting anything until December. I will be calling right ater December 27th if I have no NOA2 by then.

You can't get the bar code until the beneficiary has sent in the choice of agent form, and you've paid the fees I thought? Otherwise, that stuff is sitting on my table, ready to go...

Is there a reliable thread/resource that walks you through it? I've found threads, but they're older so I'm not sure how dependable it is. So the idea is that you knock off a week or so because you don't have to wait for documents to be sent by NVC which is just a list and forms anyway, right?

Oh, yeah. Everyone's been saying you don't even get sent a paper package from the NVC. My understanding is USCIS emails you the case complete notification, then you have your spouse e-file the choice of agent form with the NVC. Once that's done, you are able to pay the fees online. As soon as the payment is processed, you can print out the barcoded sheets. You place the appropriate sheet on top of the paperwork for each packet and then put them in two separate envelopes with the appropriate lable and send them off together.

Cool. That's good to know. Thanks.
