July NOA1 at CSC

Monthly volume of petition receipts has exceeded petition completions for August, September, October and November (no data for December). For example, in November, the CSC received 18,350 petitions and completed 10,194 petitions. The total pending has increased from 72,036 in July 2011 to 103,455 in November. At 10,000 completions per month, it will take 10 months to complete the existing backlog of total pending of 103,455!!!!!!!

That suggests July receipts will be completed in May. So any action before May is a blessing if I am reading this chart correctly.

In November there were 7,151 petitions awaiting customer action (I guess this is RFE).

In November, the USCIS received 39,405 I-130 forms and assigned 18,350 to CSC (almost half). In November the three service centers completed 32,757 I-130 forms of which CSC completed 10,194. This suggests that CSC did complete 31% of the USCIS total workload (should be 33% all else being equal). However, CSC is receiving 47% of the new submissions. So why is the least productive service center of the three total centers receiving almost half of the total submissions?

Julyers are next... My wife knows a doctor whose brother is an ambassador involved with the Mexican embassy (he's currently stationed in FL.)... Gonna try and get him to help us if that's possible.

I called USCIS 17 January, 2012. The agent on the phone told me that CSC is processing cases dated 16 June 2011. When I called one month earlier, 15 Dec 2011, I was told they were working on receipts dated 16 June 2011. One month of work and they were still processing cases from the same day.

I won't be surprised if in the next week or so they start telling people they are processing petitions dated 16 July 2011.

Based on VJ member time lines it appears they are currently on 11-13 July petitions right now, so if you have an NOA1 before that might be worthwhile to contact your Congressman.

I downloaded the trend chart for CSC in CSV format and did an average of completions per month and it came to 18,618.5.

An interesting trend in this chart is that December and January they drop below the average, but then in February and March they go back above the average, especially in February. I've often wondered if they shift resources to other petition types towards the end of the year and then move them back after the start of the year.

What are they doing to us? They said they denied the last service request so they will not look at the new one! Thank Allah we just sent a letter to our congressman! I pray he can get us out of this place! The nerve of these people! The operator said "be patient". How can anyone be patient?

On a diferent forum they have approved July 11th, they havent hit the July 18th mark yet... so i hope everyone before July 18th already has a NOA2

Those numbers can also include visa petitions for children over 21 or siblings. These visas have a much longer processing time, generally more than a year. I bet if you went even further back you would find petitions in the initial review phase for the same reason.

I have found March cases not approved on that site. I called and they gave me July 12 as the date they are working on.
