Greetings,

I am planning to apply to university in US for my masters in Economics. I have earlier done BA(2 years) and then MBA (Banking and finance) from Pakistan. I have to get my transcript evaluated from WES. i am getting confused over which transcript to get evaluated; the BA one or the MBA one? Because my bachelors degree was a 2 year degree; i am thinking of getting my MBA transcript evaluated as my Masters education equivalents to their 16 years of education. Also because my MBA degree is more relevant to the program i am thinking of applying to. Need some advices soon. Thanx

You can get either one - or both - of them evaluated, but if you only want to have one evaluated, I would choose the one that is 1) more relevant to the MA program you plan to apply to, and 2) the closest to an equivalent US bachelor's degree in terms of how many years the degree was, and how many courses it entailed. For your university application you might need to submit both transcripts though, so why not just send both to WES and get them both evaluated and translated by them? That's what I did.

05/12/2011 - Day 70 - EAD Arrived, issued on 05/02

06/14/2011 - Day 103 - E-mail notice: Interview letter mailed, interview scheduled for July 20th

07/20/2011 - Day 139 - Interview at Federal Plaza USCIS location

07/22/2011 - Day 141 - E-mail approval notice received (Card production)

07/27/2011 - Day 146 - 2nd Card Production Email received

07/28/2011 - Day 147 - Post-Decision Activity Email from USCIS

08/04/2011 - Day 154 - Husband returns home from abroad; Welcome Letter and GC have arrived in the mail

("Resident since" date on the GC is 07/20/2011
