I'm confused by this question, sorry

Here is my living situation:

1) born in USA, lived in USA from 1972-1975

2) lived in Canada from 1975-1990

3) lived in USA from 1990-1994

4) lived in Canada from 1994-1998

5) lived in USA from 1998-2006

6) lived in Canada from 2006-2007 (7 months)

7) currently live in USA from 2007 - Present Time

Yeah, crazy life of me LOL.

So how do I answer this question?

a) Is the question asking my address outside USA during anytime of my life where my residence was more than 1 year? So in this sense, do I put my address in Canada in #s 2 & 4?

or,

b) Is this question asking if I had lived outside USA 1 year ago to this date?

I know I may be reading too much into the question, but I feel the question isn't asked very specifically.

Please help :(

Thank you in advance.

It is asking for the address of the place where you lived during the last time you lived outside the US for a year or more, so the address of the place you lived during Number 4.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Okay thank you. That does make more sense to me.

The Chicago field office where they handle visa/immigration services, told me to put my US address on that line

It's so difficult and stressful hearing two different things :(
