I've already received the check list from NVC since Feb 11 2011, and I've already sent all the document that NVC required. In the checklist they mention that they will inform me again about the next process (the interview process) within 20 days after they review the document. Then after a month, I haven't got any reply from NVC.... my brother who is the petitioner call to NVC and ask about that, then they just said all my required document is completed but the case is delayed. They can't issue the visa because it is limited and tell us to be patient to wait until the visa can be issue. I just wonder the reason why it is delay? I have been waiting for 6 months already. I want to know when will NVC inform me about the next process? I want to mention that my brother filed the fb-4 visa for about 11 years already. Thank you....!

Check your priority date against the one in visa bulletin - http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_5542.html - this one is for September.

They are currently processing petitions filed on or before 15 APRIL 2000. If your PD number is after that, you have to wait until it is current.

Oh I see...... Thank you for all of your respond. My PD is 01 Nov 2000. So it means that I have to wait for other 7 months more right? Cuz the current priority date is 15 Apr 2000.

you never know, that's why you have to check the visa bulletin. maybe it will have a big jump and in less than 7 months you'll get your interview.

Hi guys could I ask u some question which is related to my case FB-4 visa? So what happen if I get married with my girlfriend, can I take her with me to the USA. Since my PD is 1 nov 2000 and now the current priority date is 14 Apr 2000.

No you cannot, you will have to file a different application for her after going to US, correct if im wrong . And please join "ALL F4s" discussion.

Yes, you can. Get married and make sure to submit paperwork for your spouse too before the interview.

No just don't mind..... Anyway thank you guy for your respond..... So after I get married I can submit a paper work for her right, and if the time for my interview come she could have an interview also? Oh can I ask you guy about the priority date is current on which year? last time our member stated that the current PD is 14 Apr 2000, and i want to know now is it still on that date or has moved on? Thank you.....
