Hey Guys,

Does anyone know if I can bring my wife to the states for 90 days on the Visa Waiver Program while waiting for our K3 visa to process? I have to leave Korea in 3 months and I'm sure the K3 is going to take at least 6 or more months to process and I'm wondering what we can do so we don't have to live apart. Thanx guys!

Joel

Yes you can, but she will VISIT, not live with you, officially.

Are you sure you want to do the K3? It is usually adsministratively closed at NVC, forcing you onto the CR-1 path, plus the CR-1 is better because it leads to immediate greencard upon entry.

Great info! Thank you! Good point on the CR-1 leading to a greencard quicker... I think the waiting period on the CR-1 isn't even that much longer than the K3
