My fiance's annual income increased a little bit this year, and it is because of the calculation adjustment of his state retirement allotment upon turning 50 in January of this year. My question is that, can he use this new amount of annual income for 2011 to reflect on his I-134 Affidavit of Support, or does he need to use the past year's (2010) income, since that is the tax return that will be attached as a supporting evidence? He did include a letter explaining it, and he already sent out his documents today via FedEx, but I'm just curious as to what you guys think. My interview is on the 15th in Manila, so we still have time in case you suggest otherwise. Either way, his income shows above poverty level. Your opinion will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!

Current income is what he is making right now this year, so yes, he should put what he will be making as his annual income for 2011.
