That is why I said some states Natty, not all. Seriously, if you're that lazy that you cant' go out and hunt, you really shouldn't bother. What is next, bullets that don't actually require you to pull the trigger, because some people just don't have gobs of time to do that? Lazy is lazy, no need to put a bow on it Natty.

why do you hate physically handicapped people and want to have their life experiences limited?

guess your friends with paraplegia will need you to go far afield for them ... so they can live (hunt) vicarious thrill ...

Come on Natty, you can do better than that. Next, I expect you'll be calling for federal and state funding for paraplegics to be able to play football? Quit being absurd. If you are too lazy to get out of your car/plane/helicopter to hunt, then you shouldn't be hunting at all.

your bait stinks ....

there again ...

there is a chance you've never heard of disabled hunter service organizations, wounded warrior hunter services, adaptive hunting equipment, etc.

look up the various laws and organizations that assist handicapped persons to hunt and fish. there is a lot of information out there on the internetz

Right, but that is not the rationale for the law. It is for rich and lazy people. Quite a statement about Tejas I think.

only rich and lazy people hunt feral hogs?

the law makes it easier to thin out the feral hog heard ...

You need to work on your reading Natty. Only rich and lazy people hunt feral hog from a helicopter or airplane. You could just as easily thin out the herd with a year round hunting season on them.

nobody else hunts with this method?

poor people can't have friends with these vehicles?

make-a-wish and other foundations can't make one of these hunts available for a "non-rich" terminally ill person?

a handicapped person can't be provided a hunt ? or one at a reduced rate?

pardon me for pointing this out, but feral hogs are often in brush so thick you can't really hunt them any other way.

Exactly what type of exertion have to endured while hunting?

True I cover a lot of ground rabbit hunting but for many hunters, the walk to the deer stand is a shorter distance then the walk out to the flight line to get on a helicopter.

How much effort does it take to sit in a field on the opening day of dove season..... or to sit motionless in a turkey blind... or a duck blind?

These hogs are no more than large rodents.... who cares how they get killed, the fact is they need killing!

Speaking as one who has spent time shooting out of a helicopter I can attest it's fun, couple that with reducing the hog population and you have a winner!

I never needed a helicopter to go "hawgging". A case of Keystone Ice 5.9%, and a box of condemns and I was good to go.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Well, If you aren't fit enough to hunt the animal, then don't bother.

Danno, If you're going to hunt an animal, at least have the courage to actually stalk and shoot the animal. If not, then just call it what it is, Lazy Armchair Animal Killing (you can substitute Wealthy for Lazy if it applies). Even if you sit in a duck blind, or a tree stand, you have to prepare, set up, and eventually track down your shot. Shooting an animal from a helicopter is chickensh!t, just like those people who feed the deer year round, then set up a motion sensor triggered spotlight during hunting season.

"Hawgging" is only for those times when your broke and horny and haven't had any for awhile. You never want to invest too much into a hawgging trip....you never know when you might have to splurge on some Happy Meals for their kids.
