I think that nobody can answer that question. We are also in name checks but i dont think anybody can give a confident answer except it ends when it ends. I wish there was a way to understand the process better or to get better info but unfortunately there isn't. AP lasts as long as it does and just pray that it has an average time of 3-6 months and not any longer. Wish you the best.

Any news at your end yet? I called DOS today. The lady just said it is still pending and didn't even let me ask anything else. Its very frustrating.

Im not even calling them this week :( i figured with EID and everything else inlcuding labor day monday it won't be worth the frustration. We are still pending from what DOS says its review @ embassy but i dont think so bcos the co said he was putting adil in name checks a month ago and DOs also said they dont update the system at times so it could be way farther in progress than they know.

ITs going on 3 months the 15th... this whole process is so hard emotionally and physically. I did find out somewhere that the summer months due to extra volume of international travelers that the admin process and name checks sometimes take more time. Soo.. thats good info but at the same time I just want this to end and us to be together!

Hopefully we will hear some good news this month or next. Either way Adil will have to submit new police certificate... urgh... but thats the least of our issues... Inshallah this will pass quickly...
