So on the payment portal my IV is showing as not paid and it wont let me select the box to pay it, I have not received the invoice yet for the DS-230. I was just wondering if this is typically what happens (that you have to wait to receive the invoice by email before you pay the IV fee on line even though it shows on the portal) thanks for the help guys

2/13/2010: Met in Korea

1/21/2011: Married in Tacloban City

USCIS (135 days)

2/23/2011: sent I-130 and I-129f

3/6/2011: received NOA1 for I-130

3/16/2011: received NOA1 for I-129f

6/17/2011: received NOA2 for I-130 and I-129f

NVC(74 Days)

7/18/2011: NVC received and case number assigned

7/20/2011: NVC Administratively closes I-129f

7/30/2011: emailed DS-3032

8/24/2011: FINALLY received AOS Fee and PAID also sent DS-3032 for the third time (PAID on 8/25)

8/26/2011: Received DS-3032 Acceptance email

9/01/2011: Received IV fee and paid (PAID on 9/02)

9/07/2011: Delivered I-864 and DS-230 to NVC (mailed on 9/06/2011)

The portal allows you to pay one day before you get the email. So if you want to save one day, keep checking daily else wait for the email.

I have waited almost 3 weeks since I got the case number and invoice number. So far I have not received the invoice. When I logged into the payment portal it says not invoices. Then in the last few days I could not log in at all.

Any one else experienced such a long delay from getting the case number, to getting the invoice showing up?

Our DS 3032 was accepted on 08/30/2011...I can see the IV fee bill but it does not allow me to pay.There is a discussion about it here ( last 3 pages)

I saw in another thread about the same issue and I responded there too.

NVC can not issue invoice email until the case is entered fully into the system and DS-3032 is accepted. I understand that you got email, hence call NVC and get this technical issue resolved ASAP.

Navy, I was able to pay the fee today. what I was saying was I couldn't pay the fee one day early like you said above. I did successfully pay the fee today the same day I received the invoice email

also what i thought was kind of weird is I received two IV fee invoices one at 11:00 am and one at 6:30 PM both saying the exact same thing

It looks like NVC changed their Web Payment controls.

  1. We are able to sign in after the case is closed, which wasn't the case 15 days before (I had a CC on 8/15 and now again on 8/31).
  2. Some guys are able to print the check list as soon as the payment is made and while the status is "IN PROCES" and 15 days back none couldn't do it till the status changed to "PAID" (I lost 6 days as the status didn't change due to some glitch.
  3. I used to check the payment web site daily and I paid both AOS and IV fees one day before I actually got email. It changed now.
  4. I got false RFE and again I got the same RFE again when the packet was being processed - both on 8/15 and again on 8/31 (I knew that because one day after I got the second RFE, the case was closed).

We need to take note of these changes in helping other in the future.

Interesting. don't know what is cauing this - did the payment triggered a second one1 Not sure.

It appears that their system is running a lil slow. I checked the bank and all 3 set of monies were confirmed extraction from my account by NVC. Called NVC and they say all is paid.

Sometimes we can't ALWAYS go off of what the sign in log says. Plus I could not wait for no document cover sheet as I have had couple SIF moments when paying the AOS for 1 of 3 cases.

I just print what I can and create the cover sheets along the way. And thus far, NVC has accepted all documents and mock cover sheets.

PS. Hopefully when the system kicks back up and says PAID, I will print cover sheets and receipt to give to my hubby for their interview as added proof of our payment.
