Hello everyone.

I got to the United States about a year ago, thanks God all went good with my papers I came with a K-1 fiance visa, I got my work permit, and then my green card.

Well now I got a problem, I want to start studying but I don't know if what I studied at my country (which is Guatemala) has any relevance here in the US. I have my high school completed and I was in college when I moved.

All I want to know is that if anyone can help me by guiding me what I have to do? I'm really confused  and I want to start on college or finish it here in the US.

Do I have to validate my high school? where I can validate it?

Can I validate or make equivalences of all my courses that I take in college back in Guatemala? How can I do that? or Where?

I live in Wisconsin.

Thank you very much and sorry for my English.

I'd recommend you make an appointment with any counselor at the institution you're interested in attending to see what the school requires you to do. Most schools require TOEFL exam results and an evaluation of your studies be sent to them. To get this done you'd have to contact places like Josef Silny & Assoicates, World Education Services or Educational Credential Evaluators.
