Thank you all for your reply. My fiance sent it off today via FedEx. By the way, I have a question. How do I put my country's flag (Philippines) for easy identification as to which embassy, like you all do in your profile? Thank you once again.

NO. If you read the instructions, I-134 is executed under the penalty of perjury so no need to be notarized.

[signing I-134 is under penalty of perjury under U.S. Law. For this reason, it is NOT necessary to sign Form I-134 before a notary, nor to have your signature notarized after you sign it.]

Hello Everyone! I am so confused and need your quick advice. My friend who's been through the process said that the I-134 needs to be notarized and my fiance who is getting all the documents ready to mail to me today said it doesn't. He showed the form to his co-worker who is a notary and she said there's no space in the form for her to sign and notarize it. I looked at the form again and yes I am confused. Please advise. Thank you very much!

Hey, I think it really depends on the consulate. we didn't have to get ours notarized and I'm from india. when in doubt I think the right place to get it cleared is to call/write to the consulate you would be attending the interview at. All the best!

Interesting. We were in the Warsaw embassy also but they did not need notarization. Go figure.

Interesting indeed; I had seen the requirement before hand and knowing what USCIS says, I actually called them to verify. The person I spoke to said it was needed notarized; so heck, it only took me a 5 min drive to my bank to get it done.

I know of another couple that had interview just the day after us and they also had it notarized.
