Contact the U.S. Embassy Kabul. They should be able to answer your cosponsor question. I would advise you to get your financial ducks in a row before your beneficiary's interview.

Each Embassy can have different requirements. Most of the people here in the Philippines regional forum are going through the U.S. Embassy Manila.

If you are petitioning someone in Afghanistan, you might want to post your questions in the Asia: South regional forum. That way, you are more likely to get help from someone who has experience with the U.S. Embassy Kabul.

You also might want to check the website of the U.S. Embassy Kabul.

I got my fiances police report translated but i dont have that much time to send it,, is it ok if i just scan it and send it, will this matter?? does it have to be the original??

It must be the original.

http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3195.html#police

Original Document Requirements

You and each family member immigrating with you to the United States must submit to the NVC original documents issued by an appropriate authority, or certified copies of those documents listed in this section.
