Hello everyone, my fiance who lives in Afghanistan has an interview at US embassy in Kabul on September 18, i sent him all the documents required for the interview, recently i heard that the embassy in Afghanistan does not accept co-sponsor for fiance visa, is this true??? I am so scared, i hope its not true because i dont meet the requirements for the I-134, also my co-sponsor is earning 21.000 is that enough?, she is 63 and has no dependents. I was so excited but now I am so scared and hopeless,

Thank you guys

Hi guys, my fiances interview is in like two weeks, we didint know that they want an evidence of our ongoing relationship. I used to buy cards from online and for some reason the website isnt showing all the cards that I bought it is just showing like 15 of them but i bought more than 50, also I used a lot of prepaid cards and i havent saved all of them but still there is plenty, the issue is that i dont have that much time to send the used cards.. do you guys think its ok if i take a picture with the used cards and send it to my fiance so he can take it to his interview?

also what else do we need??

Thank you guys and wish you all good luck B-)

They are looking for anything that can be presented as evidence of an ongoing relationship. Pictures, cards, letters, shared finances... Here's what we did. I got my wife added to my Chase acct and took her a card with her name on it. We put both our names on a condo lease and all utility bills in her country. We save, by month, all our skype transcripts and print them out. She made a photo album of our family time together, wedding, and my airline tickets and entry stamp in my passport. We also have a shared (joint) savings acct in her country as well. She has saved every western union receipt, card, letter, and other correspondence I've sent her. So what the embassy is looking for is a collection of evidence, over time, that there is an ongoing and meaningful relationship.

Hope this helps... Good luck.

Sure! Even though calling cards are thought to not be useful as evidence as they themselves do not verify whom it was you were calling or even if you in fact used them, the cards in combination with calling or billing records showing a pattern of calls to the access number is a useful piece of evidence particularly when our spouse is in a part of the world which we cannot call economically on a standard direct dial international plan (ie. Mongolia $4.00+ via ATT or 11cents with calling card). I provided scans of about two dozen ATT international cards as well as billing information from Nobel Prepaid, a print out of their calling rates for Mongolia, a printout of the access numbers and my phone billing records reflecting hundreds of hours of calls to the international access numbers.

They may or may not be useful at the interview if they were not included in your original documentation with your I-130. I would certainly make them available to your spouse though and make sure that he is familiar with and able to explain why they were brought to the interview.

In our case, this was all included beginning with the supporting documents filed with USCIS and we had originals at our CR1 interview which were not looked at.

Yes print out the logs of outgoing and incoming emails of the 2 of you's, and keep ALL chats. My husband and I chat

on Yahoo with mic and camera, cheaper then phone, also do the Time stamps on chats. Keep any and all evidence that can

support your case. Best wishes.

He needs to take a copy of EACH file sent with all the supporting document copies. i130, i134, and ds230 (not sure exactly what is sent for k1 but we took i130, i864 and ds230 with each copy of each thing we sent)

Take copies of emails, chats, phone records, letters, cards, gift receipts, lots of pictures, any affadavits from friends or relatives talking about your relationship, anything that may show you have a good relationship and its genuine.

The reason I say to take copies of each sets of documents you ever sent is because when my husband got into the interview the CO needed to locate a paper. He couldn't find it and kept searching, finally my husband took it out of his file and handed it to him which helped us to not have to send that document in after the interview was over. We still had to submit one more thing but it had nothing to do with the papers they needed or already had...they only wanted a clarification of my household size.

Good luck
