Jo,

you pulled up an old topic from 2007. You might get more responses if you start a fresh topic. But, I don't think that the embassy will move up your date. You can postpone it, but you can't make it earlier.

Waiting.....Waiting....waiting....waiting....and more waiting..........

It's pretty much impossible to move up the date of your interview. They give you an interview based on the earliest date they have available. If they had something sooner open they would have given you that.

May 11 '09 - Case Approved 10 yr card in the mail

June - 10 yr card recieved

Feb. 19, 2010 - N-400 Application sent to Phoenix Lockbox

April 3, 2010 - Biometrics

May 17,2010 - Citizenship Test - Minneapolis, MN

July 16, 2010- Retest (writing portion)

October 13, 2010 - Oath Ceremony

Journey Complete!

If there is a genuine reason, embassy will consider it, I had our interview moved up. Does not hurt to ask them. Email them.

Best wishes.
