As of mid August the White House has given Homeland Security and Immigration direction to process ILEGAL immigrants and get them green cards so they can get jobs here in the US. I think that is why processing slowed down a lot the last few weeks.

Don't tell me they're processing the ILLEGAL immigrants for FREE? (From the taxpayers pockets :bonk: )

While we (the legal immigrants) are all paying chunks and chunks of $$$$$.

Unfortunately this is always a case, where taxpayers pay for illegal immigrants.

:ot2:

Though they should have enough personel to process our cases as well.

I would get the facts straight. The USA doesn't simply hand out a free lunch.

These are people who have applied for a benefit. However, these are people who don't have any criminal backgrounds, and proven to have strong family ties since their arrival in the States.

Though it doesn't make our lifes any easier...... as they are taking valuable resources who can process our application, which we are paying money for and making it legal.....

I think they should share the load of processing cases to the local offices or maybe in the state level. In the local office (Michigan City, IN) near my home, the office is like a ghost office, if I whisper, my voice will echo in the entire 3000 sq.ft. office. I did a walk-in bio the day after I received my appointment and all the people who works there are all sleepy looking. It was just me in the middle of the day. Two years ago, when I had my walk-in biometrics for AOS, it's the same thing. I wish to have a nice comfy job like theirs.

That's why I think they should disseminate the load of work to the state level for faster immigration processing.

I applied legally, too. I don't have any criminal backgrounds, too and my family here have stronger family ties, too. I and my family should get freebies too just to be fair, I should not draw money from my pocket just like them and I should have crossed the border then for more freebies and freebies galore.

The government doesn't just hand out free lunch, they give out food stamps for breakfast, lunch and dinner for months and months and maybe years to people.
