Hello to all! I wonder if someone could answr a quick question for me. My 2 year green card expires in January 2007, and I am aware that my wife and I have to file form I-751 90 days before the expiry. However, my passport (British), expires in July 2006. so, my question is this: when I send in form I-751, do I inclide copies of new and old passport, or just old copy? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, cool. I will do that. Thank you. The new passport thing wasn't a problem other than them wanting copies of it?

I got a new passport in December 05 and filled my I751 this month. I included copies of both my old and new passport, just in case, especially because my married name only appears on my new passport. I guess it's best to just be safe and include both copies.

OK

So here is *my* dilemma. Monday I'm off to Charlotte because my I 751 has been approved and I'm going to get an extention on my permanent resident status. Now I'm supposed to bring my passport (which I assume they need to see the passport that has the K1 visa in it and the LPR approval stamp) but my dutch passport expired last year and I don't have a new passport (really don't need it, not travelling)

Will that be a problem?

Thanks to anyone that can shed some light on that.

Rudy

Just take your expired passport with you.... if you did not renew it there is nothing you can do.... but the may ask you to renew and then go back as they normally give you a I-551 stamp to cover till new greencard arrives.... dont think they can stamp an expired passport... well no point as it is not valid I supose...

Good luck

Kezzie
