My fiancé obtained her police certificate in May of 2011.

Her interview at the Islamabad Embassy is going to be around Oct/Nov 2011.

Is it ok if the police certificate pre-dates the interview by 6 months for the Islamabad Embassy? Or should she get another police report right before her interview date?

Thanks for any replies!

The police certificate is only good for 6 months... unless you want ap for a document at the interview i would suggest getting a new one to take with her at the time she has interview. My husbands pcc is expiring in sept so i am sure as we sit here in ap they will tell us to get another one to them to issue the visa

better to be safe and get her to take a new one at that time..

Yep! 6 months is too old! :) My fiance says that it only takes a few days (maybe a week) to get the new one....so you would be right to get it as close to interview as possible.

Hi Guys,

We are also in process of getting police reports for my wife. I have some confusion about the police certificates. She studied & stayed in two different cities (two years each) and now she is back in her hometown.

Does she need police reports from all three cities or just the current city would be enough?

Thanks,

PA

Just get the certificate from where her main address is. My wife lived in a remote small village when she was younger but I only got certificate from Karachi because she lives there now.
