6/26/08:resent the 1-129f package to VSC

8/21/08:received NOA1 in the mail,yeyeyeh i was relief after the long period of waiting

1/28/09:NOA2 received ...in 161 days from NOA1

2/10/09:received appointment letter from USEM

3/11 - 12 : MEDICAL -- passed

3/30/09: INTERVIEW -- APPROVED

4/02/09:VISA deliver at home at 2:45 pm

5/28/09:SSN arrived after less than 1 week from filling.

6/01/09:Wedding day.[/color]

08/22/09: Married on beautiful Mackinac Island, MI

08/31/09: Mailed AOS Package

10/20/09: Received AP

10/21/09 Received EAD card

12/7/09 AOS APPROVED!

12/14/09: Green Card arrived in mail. Happy Days!

It's taken 18 months from applying for K1 to receipt of Green Card! Thank God it's over until 12/7/11

Nothing yet for me as for ASC biometrics appointment, don't really like that I cant check my case status until AFTER biometrics. Cant see if theres RFE or anything like that...

Just a quick update,

My check was cashed on the 13th September, now the long wait proceeds.

Also, a quick question if anyone can help, is there any way of knowing your interview date in advance? I ask this because i was hoping to book a trip back to the UK for Christmas, seeing as I havent seen any of my family in the flesh since my divorce :(

I kind of already know the answer really, im assuming the process takes about 3 months right? so that counts out a trip back then.

ROC can take 5-6 months not 3 months. I have seen some approvals take 8 months or longer too.

Interview already? nooooooope you cannot find out the interview date. You will get an NOA and then you wait for biometrics which is completely based on your ASC center if its busy you could be waiting a long time, if its not busy you could get it quickly. After that you wait even longer to find out if you get an interview!

What Interview? next thing that you should recieve is the NOA1 then Biometrics appt, after that its waiting time.

I received my NOA1 in the mail last night (9/14/11). The notice is dated 9/9/11. Please add my NOA1 date of 9/14/11 to the chart for the September filers. Thanks so much!!!!

For this list, the Receipt Date on your NOA letter (not a letter received date) is the "NOA1 Date". So in your case, 9/9 is the date :)
