Did my biometrics on friday, in and out in 10 minutes. I keep hoping VSC is going to speed things up, but it looks like I'm in for a long wait, let's hope it'll be for an approval not an RFE

Hi

Congratulations to all who have been approved recently. I was approved on 25 June but as yet have not receieved my actual green card and other people seem to have received theirs quite quickly. I know it says wait 60 days to obtain receipt of the actual card but I am a little concerned. I feel it is yet another frustrating delay. Also I am travelling to Europe in August

Hey everyone, my status was updated this morning saying that my card production has been ordered, woohoo!! July 11th is the updated date. Thanks everyone for all the help - couldn't have done it without this website! Looks like the big gap in September approvals is finally being touched!

Hello everyone, i've been watching all the progress and updates on this I-751 September filer. and i just want to share my updates too. I send my pocket Sept 5, NOA1 Sept 19 and biometric Oct 24 and letter approve July 2. Now USCIS message me of production of card July 12. :dance::dance::dance:

To all the Vj's thank you for all the updates... its worth waiting for when you know that everybody here are very much supportive and helpful.

Today, I go to "my case status" online and here is what i read: "On July 12, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

I previously received the official letter a week ago. Hopefully, I should be receiving the card next week. :dance::dance::yes:

Wish I had seen this forum earlier but better late than never I suppose :)

Filed I-751 on 09-13-11

NOA1 09-16-11

Biometrics 10-17-11

Approved 06-28-12

Card received 07-05-12

Please add me to the list

We had submitted 2 changes of address, and received notification of such. I received an email on approval, another to say the card was in production, another to say the card was ready, another saying they had posted and yet another on delivery. All in all very pleased that an incredibly stressful situation was made easier by the communication.

We were expecting an RFE, as we didn't send in much evidence. After seeing what some people have sent in on here, I am amazed we did not have an interview or RFE!

We sent:

Tax returns joined, last 2 years.

House rental contract

2 affidavits from friends

Me as dependent on healthcare

Few flight tickets

Also, for those worried about being out the country during the process; due to family issues I have spent a lot of time out of the US in the last 2 years,but ensured I flew back every 3-4 months. I was worried about this but there was no problem.

The only thing that will affect is Citizenship,but I think I will wait a while for that now!

Anyway, good luck to all and I hope everyone has a great Friday 13th.
