Yes, i submitted all the documents again for the RFE plus printed W-2 form for taxes, actually the one for hubby because i wasnt working the first year i came here..

The date when i sent my documents for RFE was 1/9 and they received it 1/13 friday i believe, didnt take them long to approve me i dont know what was their problem exactly :)

Nice to see that a lot of CSC applicants got their GC, almost 50% and rolling... Congrats to us!

I did nothing different. Just followed instructions. Today in another section of forum on VJ I asked if actual employes of Immigration ever read this forum and ever comment and the answer to both was yes.

So what is happening with Vermont. Very unfair.

It all seems so uneven and with no explanations or guides. Why ?

processing times are not static. the USCIS has neither the staff nor the funds to respond in real time to massive increases/decreases in application numbers. look at the trends on the USCIS site. extrapolate this across the MANY visa types that are applied for. immigration is HUGE.

my sweet alien husband and i went through the k1 visa process in 2008-2009 when people were cheering VSC for its speed and lamenting the slowness of CSC. i was lucky then. i dont consider us unlucky now because ROC is slow at VSC. at least for post-entry visa applications, i am able to be with my lovely spouse; that makes the waits bearable.

try to have some perspective. i know this process affects us as individuals, but try to think of the big picture, as a grand exercise in patience.

(my view may not be popular, but its an opinion i have developed over my time spent dealing with immigration issues. not only from my own experience, but from accounts of others.)

If people had interviews it would say interview on the table that is posted. No one has had an interview as of yet, they have all been approved without interview.

USCIS phone number 1-800-3755283 - to speak to a person follow the prompts to change your address an operator will pick up.
