Very good, im sending them an update of everything. On your RFE what did they request from u, like what was in the letter?

My RFE letter is so general and no specific documents. Just anything that will prove that our marriage is in good faith. Basically, elaboration on the requirements when you filed. For examples: financial documents such as bank statements, tax documents, billings with both our name, birth certificate of child (we didn't send 'coz no kids yet), letters from friends and family with both of our names on it.

These were the documents I send in my RFE response.

Documents that have both of our name

1. Car insurance billing

2. Home insurance of our condo unit in IL

3. Health and life insurance namedy husband as beneficiary

4. Listing agreement with our broker when we tried to sell our unit in IL

5. Our dog's vet visit document (we were named as her mom and dad)

6. Recent post card received

7. Recent bank statement

8. Our previous lease contract durin our stay on apartment

9. Tax Returns (2010 and 2011)

Documents subdivided between our names but with same address

10. Utility bills - electricity, water, mortgage, sprint internet

11. Residential lease contract for having somebody rent our unit in IL

12. School information of my husband

Other documents

13. Itinerary of our recent travel vacation

14. Most recent pictures

We received an email earlier today stating:

....Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On January 19, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

I'm surprised you got an RFE, that all sounds like good stuff in my opinion. Maybe send more than just the recent bank statement, like over a longer period? Same with utility bills? Sounds like your situation may be one where some affidavits from close friends/family might be beneficial. Sorry to hear about the delay in your case I hope you can clear this up soon and get better news next time around!

Okay.... just an update.... after my RFE.... got message yesterday (01/13/2012)... they were ordering my new card for production. I guess it means I am approved.

Thought it will take so long.

no VSC approvals reported for september, august, july, or june. (though i think there may have been a military approval in there.) id guess september might not see any VSC approvals until may 2012. but maybe things will pick up by then!
