Where do you verify that the check was cashed? I log in my bank account but don't see any pending transaction. Does this mean mine was not cashed yet or there is another way to find out?

My package arrived 9/6

I just log on to my bank account and it says WITHDRAWN - ARCCSC field OFFICE ACH $590.00 TRANSACTION ( PAYMENT ) Payed by personal check and money is gone. Thats the only way I know to check aside from calling the bank but if its not showing pending or withdrawn on your bank account then its probably not been cashed yet.

for those who have sent there roc in,how did you package it,,did you paperclip it together then put it in manilla envelope or what?

huge paper clips and check on the front in a large priority mailer from USPS because its only 5$ with confirmation on delivery. When I sent my AOS packet I sent it in a regular envelope and it cost almost 30$. WISH I sent it priority last time and saved the money!

Yay!

I think my check actually got cashed yesterday, as I received a text message from my bank at 6 AM this morning alerting me of the withdrawal (I have alerts set up for checks ever since I filed for AOS). Not sure, but I guess that neither the bank is open, nor does VSC cash checks at 6AM. It makes sence, because if you count only 'business' days, your package was delivered just one day later than mine even though sept 2nd and 6th are 4 days apart.

Ya that would be weird them cashing it at 6AM but still that is really fast specially for having a holiday weekend just before! none the less super excited its going so quickly already. I feared I would be one thats waiting for a month to be cashed etc.

Hope things go faster all the way.

so for september filers, whenever you had multiple pages let's say for a bank statement, did you staple the pages together or just put them together with a paper clip, or just didn't use any paper clips? thanks guys!

The USCIS website says: Use paperclips when attaching supporting personal documents to forms (do NOT use ACCO fasteners; staples are acceptable when attaching fees). So I figured it would be best to use paperclips for everything. Anytime I had more than one page for supporting documents I used paperclips to hold those together, and then I used an additional paperclip to attach the check to front of the cover letter.

thank you! I am going to use paper clips to attache multiple pages as you said, will staple the check to the form and use a big ACCO to hold everything together!!

I wouldn't use the ACCO though, because they specifically say do NOT use it. Otherwise you're good to go.
