military issues are not a subject that i am familiar with. i think there is relatively good support for military couples/families available either through the military or through USCIS or both.

for the majority of people who are ROCing with 'normal' cases (ie non-military, non-vawa, non-'i need to travel out of the country for 7 months', etc), an expired green card with an accompanying NOA1 is all you really need for everyday life. the most action my husband's green card has seen is dealing with the initial filing of the i-751 and the biometrics appointment.

There is very little support for military spouses through the military or USCIS.

On my Timeline page how do I mark Approval for the Checklist ?

when you go in to edit there should be a drop down menu with a yes or no option by the approval question. If there isn't then i'm not to sure!

Did anyone notice Uscis case status has not been working since morning or was it just my computer and android acting up...

Right on the USCIS case status page it says its down for maintenance until Monday..

Just received an email this afternoon that my card production was approved yesterday Dec 2, 2011.

Congratulations , are you in Seattle?? my NOA1 is 08/25 . You are lucky you got the email. I see the USCIS website has been under maintenance since Friday night. weird you got an email on Saturday.

visa approved! 11/17/2009.. pheww!!

received passport-11/20/2009

entered in US- 12/14/2009

POE- New york

welcome received- 02/01/2010

green card received- 02/08/2010

removal of condition-12/15/2011

ROC package sent to CSC- 09/21/2011

no update on our case, they haven't even touched it. :(

you most likely will not get an update at all. most VJ members who have removed conditions report no change before they are notified of an approval or an RFE.

To all those who were approved (INNEEDOFHELP, INNA, LEXY, CHICAGOGUY 2, MYPERFECTFLAW, and MIKE143), is your approval date exactly or close to the expiration date on your conditional green card?

my conditional GC expired Oct. 28 approval Nov. 29, up to now i only received the notice of approval (received Dec.03) but not yet the actual GC maybe and i hope within this week. thank you and goodluck
