I got rfe, asking for same stuffs I sent them. I guess I should sent it to them again. I guess I should include the mortgage though it's all under mine. This is kinda upsetting, oh well.

In my haste to open envelope from Homeland Security I ignored what I assumed was junk mail. A stupid looking envelope. BUT just now I did open it and it was her Green Card! A fast 60 days. Same day as approval letter.

I didn't include mortgage info either because it was just in my name and my deceased wifes name. I really don't want to go through the ordeal of changing it. However, I did include a will that shows her as benificiary.

I assumed that they got confused with our addresses since we've just moved in our house from our apartment when I sent the package and some of my recent bills were still in my apartment address when I submitted mine. I wonder if they missed looking on the document that I included regarding him being my beneficiary in all my health and life insurance from work.

SURPRISE Our approval letter arrived in today's mail - 11/25/11

Says green card will arrive within 60 days. Decision date 11/21/2011

My package for RFE is ready to go.

I got 13 proof of good faith marriage, more than I originally sent. Though worried about the utility bills because its subdivided between me and my husband depends whoever process our account (either me or him). Also mortgage of our new house is under my name because its part of my relocation benefit and can only be under my name.

With Both Names

1. Car Insurance

2. Home Insurance for our Condo

3. Recent Bank Account

4. Health & Life Insurance Election (Spouse named for Beneficiary)

5. Our Dog’s Veterinary Visit

6. Leasing Contract during our stay in apartment in Missouri

7. Listing Agreement for our Condo Unit in Illinois (When we tried to sell)

8. Our Most Recent Received Post Card

Subdivided between our Names but same Address

9. Residential Lease of our Condo Unit in Illinois (Leasing our Unit)

10. Utility Bills - Electricity, Gas, Water, Mortgage, Sprint AirCard

11. Husband School Information from the University here in Missouri

Do you have any charge cards ? Master Card, Visa, Kohls.

If you have time you could get Record of Account from IRS. Copies of Form 1040 or whatever you used shows what you might have paid. The Record of Account comes directly fron IRS and shows what you DID pay.

My husband is the primary card holder though I'm authorize with all the cards, its not stated my name in all the bills. I thought that having him as my sole beneficiary in my life insurance as well as dependents in my health insurance is quite enough.

But I guess I can include our tax return for 2009 & 2010.

The Tax paper is very important. With the Tax paper alone and few other documents, you should have your green card renewed. If you have a copy of your 1040, you can include it or call IRS to send one asap because it takes time before you get it from IRS.

Hahaha. Stupid me. Didn't include it when we submit my application. Got copy of our tax return, we did use turbo tax. Thanks for advice. I thought that bank statement is enough plus got life insurance from work which states my husband as beneficiary. But I guess they're looking for our joint tax file.

You need the original IRS tax returns. You can do a walkin one of the IRS offices and they will print your tax returns then and there in 5 mins. No need ton wait 14 days to get them through the mail. Good luck.

I was told I had to send in the IRS tax papers. Went in and they printed it off for me.

It's up to you.. Do what you think is the safest way of getting your evidence across...

Walk in or Turbo is fine... All You need is just a proof. Just a page that shows 1040 for the years you have been married. You can walk in if you still have enough time. The Turbo is perfectly okay as well. I hope that helps.

Thanks! I forgot that we have family plan for cellphone though bills only address to me, I have online account that I could print as proof of our family plan naming my husband as my secondary user.
