Okay, I have a bio notice to appear on 10/21/2011 but I am going to try and do a walk in, as I am away on vacation on that date.

10/26/2009 - Green Card received - nearly 11 months to the day of our K1 NOA 1!

11/25/2009 - Started my new job!

It's been a quick and relatively painless journey thanks to tireless research, dumb luck and this community :)

make sure you use the case number from your biometrics letter...

I do... But it doesn't work... I might call USCIS and ask about it, but on the other hand maybe it's a good thing... I won't be able to obsessively check online for "touches".. :)

I just called the USCIS automated phone to see if it's possible to the check status that way and the phone also says the case cannot be found... hmm... weird. Will call them tomorrow and try to speak to a representative because it seems kind of weird. I understand if it doesn't always show up online, but it should come up on the phone!?

Nope because the phone system checks the same system that you try to check on your computer from home. So it wont show up on the automated system.

Not sure if there any big difference with AOS bio and this one but when i was doing my AOS they sent out the bio app to me and the mail person sent it back saying unable to be delivered, so i called them and told them about it and letting them know that i got the receipts at the same address so i don't know what's the problem... As usual they give you a ref number and said to wait 30 days and so on..... The week after i checked the mail and it came but the appointment date had already passed so i did a few google search about it and a few other people had the same problem and they did a walk-in on a Wednesday or a Friday and got it done so i ended up doing just the same and i got mine. So you can try a walk-in

Hi fabilous, I spoke with senior officer at uscis. he told me they just haven't sent it yet. Well, I am playing the waiting game now. Whenever I get, I will try a walk in.

You have to take your letter. Some will allow it some wont.

Yep that's the one and i think it's the only one too as far as i know and try going in on a Wednesday or Friday because i think they slower on those days. I ask the guard at the front if they allow walk-in and told him i had a few stuff to take care of that day and i would love to see if i can do it before my original appointment and he said no problem and marked out the date and put yesterday's date and gave me a form to fill out. It was about 12 when i got in and there were like 3 other people in line in front of me and i was out by 12:10 maybe earlier too.

Anybody can help me how to contact USCIS VSC?its a month today since i sent my package but dont receive my bio appointment yet...i do the email to them but i dont know if it get through so im planning to just give them call to be sure...i do appreciate all your instant help....thanks!!!

3/30/09: INTERVIEW -- APPROVED

4/02/09:VISA deliver at home at 2:45 pm

5/28/09:SSN arrived after less than 1 week from filling.
