I was going to do mine early but Omaha apparently does not allow walk-in unless you already missed your original appointment so I will have to wait sadly =(

I'm in florida and was thinking about doing a walk-in because I ha e a cruise coming up next month so hope they would allow me to do it.

I was looking at the may filets for VSC and no one have gotten their green card yet... What's going on VSC? A friend of mine filed in may as well and he haven't received his card yet.

There is no harm in trying a walk-in, if they don't let you they just say come back on the date of your appointment.

I hope VSC starts getting peoples Bio appointments out soon only one VSC filer for Sept has gotten one so far and thats really odd!

Personal checks are good.

You need tax transcripts filed jointly for last 2 years. Lease agreement or mortgage statement/deed for house. Also utility bills such as electric, water, cable. These are all important.

let me post the list of documents i have sent along with what we written on our affidavit.

1. Check of 590$ payable to home land security of US.

2. i-715 form

3. copy of green card and green card on passport with POE entry. (front and back)

4. copy of my and my son's social security card.

5. bona fide affidavit from my in laws about our relation and our living situation. ( my husband is working on his degree full time at university since i arrived and he has been unemployed all the time since he has been in the school full time. So haven't filed the Tax since like 2 years now and i has been home taking care of our new born. his parents supported us by letting us stay with them until he finish the college, so we do not pay any utilities. his dad made the affidavit explaining the situation so we are hoping that it would go well.)

6. copy of my learners permit from DMV

7. copy of my son's birth certificate, other three proof of his birth and proof of my pregnancy statement from my Doctor.

8. copy of his doctor's appointment card showing our address and showing.

9. few baby shower card with both our names and invitation card.

10. Phone bill copies of T mobile and vonage.

11. bank statements showing out joint account.

12. car insurance policy on both our names.

13. few packages we received from relatives on both our names.

14. our medical insurance card showing the same addresses.

15. some of my blood work reports done by my doctor and my husband called every time to know the results. They had this statement typed that my husband called in to know the results. They hand me the copy of it so i high lighted. ( well i know it's funny but i thought why not send it since we do not have leasing or tax return papers. hopefully that would work fine)

16. our hotel reservation of road trip to Portland.( we asked for the crib from hotel for our son and that is in the itinerary) Hope that works.

17. few pictures of son's birth, Family reunion and family pictures with me my husband and our son.

Make sure your check specifically says "U.S. Department of Homeland Security"

Include a letter as to why he is not on the house. If there isn't a letter they most likely will question why hes not on the house.

We do all our bills online and it was simple enough to go to our accounts and print off pages there. Not sure how that is hard to track down?

We only copied the important pages of my husband's passport, skipped all the empty pages. Unfortunately, we haven't received our NOA1 yet, so no idea if we'll get an RFE for not enough, but I highly doubt it. It's one of the few things I'm not worried about in our package!

Your package seems pretty sound in my opinion.

Sometimes online accounts only keep record of the past year or so; that's what I was worried about, but I was able to copy a paper bill that I had from mid-2009 so I figured one from soon after marriage & one recent would suffice.
